About
Home Sweet Jamaica (HSJ) is a Jamaican luxury digital lifestyle magazine serving Jamaica and its global diaspora. A publication of Sunfloral Inc., a Florida-based company founded in April 2003, HSJ is edited and published by Gina Tulloch-Adams. The magazine celebrates Jamaican heritage, culture, people, and places through honest, human storytelling, featuring content spanning travel, food, history, music, community profiles, and diaspora life, with a commitment to reflecting the warmth, dignity, and cultural pride of the Jamaican experience.
History
Origins (2012)
Home Sweet Jamaica was founded in August 2012 by Gina Tulloch-Adams as a commemorative tribute to Jamaica's 50th year of independence. Two issues were produced — August and November 2012 — and distributed in print across Jamaica, the United States, and Canada. The publication brought together writers, photographers, and contributors united by a shared love of Jamaican culture and a desire to mark the milestone of national independence in a meaningful, lasting way.
Digital relaunch (2025)
The magazine was relaunched as a luxury digital publication on August 5, 2025, the birthday of Tulloch-Adams' late father, Francis Tulloch, who served as Jamaica's Minister of Tourism from 1997 to 1999. The inaugural digital issue was dedicated to his memory. Rooted in family legacy and cultural advocacy, the digital HSJ continues the mission of the original print edition: to connect diaspora families to Jamaican life, history, and identity, and to pass that inheritance to the next generation.
