I have fond childhood memories of family holidays in Negril. By the time we reached Cosmos, we were ready to cool ourselves in the sea, slipping into the shallow waters just before the afternoon rainfall sent us running for cover.
Yes, when guests would come, we would take them to Rick’s Cafe, but Cosmos was for family. Sitting beneath the thatched roof of the open-air restaurant at sunset, eating family style from an array of seafood and Jamaican dishes so we could taste as many as possible.
